Good collaboration

What is good collaboration?! Good collaboration is being able to work well with others. Some key factors to good collaboration are acceptance, trust, and responsibility. Acceptance is very valuable because with acceptance you feel more open to sharing your ideas. Acceptance is important because sometimes the craziest ideas are the most revolutionary ones, lift example could you imagine if Copernicus hadn't shared his seemingly crazy idea we might still believe the earth is flat! Trust is the next step after acceptance, trust others to live up to to the expectations set by the group. Trusting others is very important for example, we trust our lives with pilots even though there are no guarantees in life. With trust comes responsibility. Learn to complete tasks and act within the expectations that have been set by the group. Understanding that when you have a situation eg. A chore to complete , and you neglect it there will be consequences. Working with others is tough but it is a skill we must all acquire so hopefully this gave you some ideas on how to make it slightly easier and more effective to work with others.

  1. This is a well structured paragraph Victoria. I especially like how you seem to introduce the points you are making and then give examples to prove the point. It helps the reader to understand you much better than if you do not use examples. There are a few punctuation errors (commas) I can help you with at flex or, alternatively, copy and past into an MS Word doc for spelling and grammar check. I think you have a strong understanding as to what makes a good paragraph and we should continue to work on developing your writing through more multi-paragraph compositions. What do you think?
