Motivation
You get motivated when you have an urge to complete something. Setting goals or getting rewards is a way to help us get more motivated. To get people motivated in doing work, businesses give out promotions, mainly money. The video we watched in class told us that people with promotions do worse than people without. I think it's like this because once you get a promotion you no longer have any motivation to do any better, because your already at the top. I think companies should give out monthly promotions to whoever worked hardest last month. This way even people that already have a promotion can still be motivated to do better so they won't lose the promotion. If companies do this I think they will have better work and more motivated workers. In order for anyone to get motivated in anything I think it's best we always have goals.
Mandela
Mandela's life taught me to never give up on what you think is best. Even in the most hardest times things could still come out for the best.
